Ziauddin Haidari – Chief Executive Officer(CEO)

Ziauddin Haidari is a banking professional with over 15 years of banking experience in various management positions in Treasury and Banking Operations. He has been working with The First MicroFinanceBank-Afghanistan in different positions such as Manager Banking Operations, Deputy Head of Treasury and Commercial Banking, Head of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer over past 13 years and prior to joining The First MicroFinancBank-Afghanistan he has also worked with FMFB-Pakistan for a few years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Lahore and a Bachelor from the University of Punjab Pakistan with various international certifications in banking and treasury.

Naqibullah Aman – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Naqibullah Aman has been with FMFB-A since August 2011. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Kardan University, Kabul. He is pursuing his professional studies at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He has diversified experience of over ten years in financial reporting and management and is one of the integral parts of the finance department during this time with FMFB-A. Prior to joining FMFB-A, he has worked with ACF (French NGO) as a financial analyst, based in Kabul who was working for the eradication of poverty in underdeveloped countries.

Kanishka Aien – Chief Operation Officer (COO)

Kanishka Aien has 16 years of experience in banking industry of Afghanistan with expertise in banking operations, Kanishka Aien functioned in the capacity of Head of Departments, Chief Operating Officer, Member of the Board of Management and Board of Supervisors within the banking industry of the country. Kanishka Aien obtained his bachelors in Economics and MBA from the prestigious Kabul University. Moreover, he has completed Operational Risk Management certification from the Global Risk Academy and has served previously as a committee member of the Afghanistan Banking SWIFT community.

Neymat Mohammadi – Chief Staff Affairs Officer 

Mr. Neymat Mohammadi has been serving the First MicroFinanceBank-Afghanistan (FMFB-A) as Chief Staff Affairs Officer since 2023. He has over a decade of professional experience in staff affairs and human resources management within structured and regulated environments, with focus on governance, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

His professional expertise covers key people governance domains, including HR strategy aligned with institutional objectives, workforce planning and talent acquisition, learning and capability development, performance and reward frameworks, employee relations and engagement, leadership and culture development, change management, and HR operations in compliance with applicable labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.

Mr. Mohammadi is a Certified Human Resources Professional (SHRM-CP). He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (both from Afghanistan), and has completed various executive leadership and management development programs. He is currently pursuing an additional Master of Science degree from United Kingdom, and is also working toward AAOIFI certification, further strengthening his knowledge in sharia, governance, compliance, and financial services standards.

In his role, Mr. Mohammadi is responsible for oversight of staff affairs governance, policy formulation and implementation, organizational capability development, and ensuring that human capital practices support the Bank’s risk management, control environment, and long-term sustainability.

He also serves as a Member of the Management Board of the Bank, where he contributes to collective management oversight, strategic planning, and executive decision-making. 

Neamatullah Khushi – Chief Credit Officer (CCO)

Neamatullah has over 16 years of experience in the Banking Industry, He has 14 years’ experience in Risk Management and Internal Audit and more than 2 years’ experience in Branches Operations at the Banking industry. Neamatullah is serving as a Chief Credit Officer in FMFB-A. He has been working with the First Microfinance Bank Afghanistan since April 2009. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Peshgam Private Higher Education. He has completed a Certified Expert in Risk Management (CERM) e-learning course from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He is also pursuing his MBA from Kardan University.
