Job Summary: 

Besides, being the full backup for Digital Banking Manager, the incumbent of the position is responsible to provide efficient customer service and support of Digital Banking products including Master Card, Online Banking, Mobile Banking, AfPay Cards, ATMs, Reconciliation and any other services added from time to time. The position holder also Provide support to both retail and corporate customers and verify & support team in processing, reconciling the Digital Banking transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies, procedures and bank regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Active Participation in different phases of implementations of Digital Banking products and services of the bank.
  • Handle day to day operation work within the unit to ensure that the operation procedures are implemented effectively.
  • Coordinate with IT department to resolve difficult situations and malfunction of ATMs/POS effectively analyzing the situation and identifying potential solutions and ensure high level customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and authorize transactions from internet and mobile banking.
  • Coordinate with other related departments of the bank regarding technical maintenance of ATMs/POS.
  • Oversee daily operation of internet banking, mobile banking, ATMs and POS by ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, procedures and check lists.
  • Process Master card requests of customers, order cards and perform card maintenance.
  • Monitor and review card issuance volume reports.
  • Assist customers with password resets, pin generation and issuance for internet and mobile banking products as per bank policy and procedures.
  • Coordination with external parties and vendors like CSC & APS.
  • Support Digital Banking /Alternate Delivery Channel Manager in other duties assigned.


  • Having bachelor degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, management, or with 3 years’ experience or Baccalaureates with 5 years working experience.
  • Practical experience in Banking Operations preferably in Digital Banking, along with proficiency in various Core Banking Systems familiarity with Oracle Flex Cube will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with other banking systems & AML/CFT regulations.
  • Competency in IT required for Digital Banking routine operations.
  • Proficiency in English both spoken and written, complemented by good command of the local languages – Dari and Pashto.
  • Good knowledge of process improvement and business process management techniques.
  • Sound knowledge of Branch banking and back office operations.
